Cataraqui Guild of Needle Arts Exercises for Embroiders


Below are exerices to keep your body fit to embroidery. Just as we need to warm up before running, we should do the same before working on needlework. We have seen too many members having to quit due to an injury caused by incorrect posture or working too long at our favourite craft or other causes. Please treat your body carefully so you can do needle work for as long as you want.

It has been suggested that you take a break every 30 minutes, even if it is just to get up and walk around the house and do a few stretches.
